About me

Frankie Chesterton

Chartered Physiotherapist
BSc MCSP HCPC

Frankie qualified from Nottingham University in 2008. He spent four happy years working across a range of clinical disciplines in two large London NHS trusts, and provided physio-cover for the yearly International ‘Freeze Big-Air Snowboard&Ski Festival’.

He moved to Oxfordshire to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working 5 years in a busy NHS outpatient clinic, alongside a growing private practice. Since 2017 Frankie has worked primarily in private practice. He has treated acute injuries in his pitchside rugby work, provided treatment and injury triage clinics at two sports-performance schools, and further pursued his interests in the sporting shoulder and running rehabilitation alongside his regular clinic work.

Before relocating to Devon last year, he also worked as an FCP (first contact practitioner) providing first-line triage to the musculoskeletal caseload of general practitioners across a range of GP surgeries.

When Frankie isn’t working, he is father to two young daughters and spends as much of his free-time outside as possible, mountain biking, road cycling, running, playing tennis and jumping in the sea to do whatever the forecast allows!
